The Farm has begun a program for the in vitro production of Date Palm plants. Working with the Barhee and Khlass varieties, we have successfully developed a protocol for the embryogenesis of Date Palm. We are currently in the process of acquiring germplasm of other varietes and establishing a mass production system.
